ABOUT ROCK DECO
In 1993 I went to work with Jack and Elaine Greenspan. Jack was the founder of Crystalite and had created a top notch lapidary in woody creek, Colorado. It was in this shop under jacks instruction that I learned how to cut gems, evaluate rough material, and trade diamonds.
This experience opened the doors for me to create Rock Deco. The Tucson gem show became my focus. while cutting my own stones and accumulating my own diamond inventory I opened my first Booth at the GJX show with my friend todd reed. www.toddreed.com
I can't tell you how many people came by that first year, wondering and asking, "what are these"? "diamonds"?
Yes, they are!
24 years later, my inventory of diamonds is EXPANSIVE, including Everything from Rose Cuts, SLICES, CUBES, DODECAHEDRON AND Boart to fine maccles and octahedrons.
My gem cutting has evolved as well. I now specialize in the finest materials and have created an inventory of unusual and asthetically appealing gemstones. all of my color gemstones are cut in HOUSE.
rock deco is based out of SANTA FE, NM, in the heart of the Land of Enchantment AT THE FOOT OF THE SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS.
